Terms and Conditions

Meubelreiniging.nl, hereinafter referred to as “contractor”, performs all work based on these Terms and Conditions. By requesting or accepting a quote, the client agrees to the conditions below.
1. Applicability
These Terms and Conditions apply to all quotes, agreements and work performed by Meubelreiniging.nl, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
2. Services and pricing
All services by Meubelreiniging.nl are performed at a fixed price. The fixed price is stated in the quote and is based on the information provided by the client regarding the item to be cleaned (type, dimensions, material and level of soiling).
If during execution it becomes apparent that the actual situation differs from the information provided and additional work is required, the client will be notified. Additional work is only carried out after the client's approval.
3. Quotes
All quotes are free, non-binding and valid for 30 days from issue. Acceptance is communicated in writing (email or WhatsApp) and implies agreement with these terms.
4. Deposit and payment
Upon confirmation of the order, a deposit of 40% of the total fixed price is due. The deposit must be paid before the work is scheduled.
The remaining amount (60%) is due immediately upon completion. Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, iDEAL or Tikkie.
If the client does not pay on time, the contractor is entitled to charge statutory interest and extrajudicial collection costs.
5. Cancellation and changes
- Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the scheduled date. The deposit will be fully refunded.
- For cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment, the deposit is non-refundable.
- Date or time changes are subject to availability and should be communicated as early as possible.
6. Execution of work
Meubelreiniging.nl performs all work to the best of its ability and in accordance with good craftsmanship. The contractor is free in the choice of equipment, cleaning agents and working method.
All required professional equipment and cleaning products are supplied by Meubelreiniging.nl. The client does not need to provide anything.
The client must ensure timely access to the location, sufficient workspace around the item to be cleaned and a power outlet (230V).
7. Results and guarantee
Meubelreiniging.nl always strives for the best possible result. However, the final result depends on factors such as material type, age, type of soiling and previous use of cleaning agents by the client.
Meubelreiniging.nl cannot guarantee that all stains will be completely removed. This applies in particular to stains caused by paint, ink, bleach, permanent dye, or chemical damage to the material.
Complaints about the result must be submitted in writing within 5 working days after completion to contact@meubelreiniging.nl or via WhatsApp, preferably accompanied by photographs. Meubelreiniging.nl will evaluate each complaint and may offer a re-treatment or partial refund.
8. Liability
Meubelreiniging.nl is only liable for direct damage that is directly and demonstrably the result of gross negligence by the contractor during execution.
Meubelreiniging.nl is not liable for:
- Shrinkage, discolouration or deformation of fabrics and materials as a result of cleaning.
- Damage caused by hidden defects in the furniture or material.
- Bleeding of stains that were not or barely visible and which the client did not point out in advance.
- Discolouration caused by cleaning agents previously applied by the client or third parties.
- Pre-existing damage or natural wear.
Liability is at all times limited to a maximum of the invoice amount of the relevant order.
9. Access and working conditions
If the team cannot gain access within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, the appointment will be considered missed. The deposit will not be refunded in such cases.
The client is responsible for removing fragile or valuable items from the immediate work area. Pets must be kept separate during the work.
10. Travel costs
Travel costs are included in the fixed price, unless otherwise stated in the quote. For locations outside our regular service area, a travel surcharge may apply and will be communicated in advance.
11. Data protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). See our Privacy Policy for more information.
12. Modifications
Meubelreiniging.nl reserves the right to modify these terms. Changes apply to orders requested after publication on this page.
13. Applicable law
All agreements are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
